MEP Gay Mitchell urges men to take their health seriously and get checked!
Cancer is a topic close to Fine Gael MEP Gay Mitchell’s heart having lost close family members to the disease. Recently he hosted a talk urging people, men in particular, to get health checks and for men to have regular prostate checks. Around five hundred men die in Ireland each year from prostate cancer. Many die because it is diagnosed too late – if it is caught early there is almost a one hundred percent survival rate. Listen as Gay talks about his own experiences as he shares his story in a very open interview with Aileen.
